DripMaker Privacy Policy
DripMaker ("the app") is published by MAGNATE Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email [email protected].
The short version
- There's no account. We never ask for your name, email or Roblox username.
- Your designs and any photos you import stay on your phone. We don't upload them.
- The app uses Google services for ads, app statistics and crash reports, and Google Play or the Apple App Store for payments. Those services receive some device and usage information, described below.
- We don't sell your personal information.
1. Information that stays on your device
The following is stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. We can't see it, and it's deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data:
- Your designs: the shirts, pants and T-shirts you make, and the layers used to edit them.
- Photos you import: when you add a photo as a sticker, you pick it with your phone's system photo picker and the app keeps a copy for your designs. The app can't browse the rest of your gallery or photo library.
- Settings and unlocks: your language, which items you unlocked by watching a video, whether you've finished the intro, and when the app last asked for a review.
A design only leaves your phone when you choose to: saving it to your gallery, sharing it with another app, or uploading it to Roblox yourself. On Android 9 and older, saving to the gallery asks for storage permission. On iPhone, saving asks for permission to add photos to your library; the app can't read your existing photos.
2. Information handled by Google services
The app uses the Google services below. They collect information automatically when you use the app and process it under their own privacy terms. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads: a banner, full-screen ads at some transitions, an ad when you return to the app, and optional videos you can watch to unlock items. To show and measure ads and prevent fraud, AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. On iPhone, the advertising ID is only available if you allow it when iOS asks whether DripMaker may track you; if you decline, you still see ads, just not personalized ones.
If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent message before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy options. We ask Google to show only ads suitable for general audiences (content rated PG or lower). Subscribers to DripMaker PRO see no ads.
App statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used so we can improve it: for example, which screens are opened, whether a design was saved or shared, and whether the PRO screen was shown or a purchase was started. Firebase also records device model, operating system version, app version, language, approximate location (country or region, derived from your IP address) and an app instance ID.
We've switched off advertising ID collection in Analytics and don't allow Analytics data to be used for ad personalization. We don't send Analytics your designs, photos or any text you type.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
If the app crashes or hits a serious error, Crashlytics sends a report containing technical details (what the app was doing, device model, operating system version, free memory and a Crashlytics installation ID) so we can fix the problem. Crashlytics keeps crash reports for up to 90 days.
Payments (Google Play and the App Store)
DripMaker PRO is sold as a subscription through Google Play on Android and the App Store on iPhone. Google or Apple processes the payment; we never receive your card or payment details. The app receives only the purchase status from the store so it can unlock PRO and keep it active while your subscription is valid.
Ratings
After you've saved a few designs, the app may show the store's own rating card (Google Play or the App Store). Your rating and any review go directly to the store; the app isn't told what you wrote or whether you rated.
| Service | What it's for | Main data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob and consent messaging | Ads, measuring ads, fraud prevention, consent | Advertising ID, IP address, device and app info, ad interactions, your consent choice |
| Firebase Analytics | Usage statistics | App events, device and app info, approximate location, app instance ID |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Fixing crashes | Crash details, device state, installation ID |
| Google Play Billing / Apple App Store | Subscriptions | Purchase status and transaction details |
3. Why we process information (legal bases)
Where laws like the GDPR apply, we rely on:
- Consent for personalized ads, where it's required. You can withdraw it any time in Settings → Ad privacy options.
- Performing our agreement with you to provide the app and your PRO subscription.
- Legitimate interests for app statistics, crash reports, non-personalized ads that fund the free version, and preventing fraud and abuse.
4. Sharing
We don't sell personal information and don't share it with anyone except the Google services described above, which act on our behalf or as independent providers under their own terms. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Google may process information on servers in the United States and other countries. Google relies on legal safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for these transfers.
6. How long information is kept
- Data on your device: until you delete it, clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
- Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.
- Crash reports: up to 90 days.
- Advertising data: under Google's own retention policies.
7. Your choices and rights
- Ad consent: change it in Settings → Ad privacy options (shown where consent is required).
- Advertising ID: on Android, reset or delete it in Settings → Privacy → Ads; on iPhone, turn tracking off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Local data: delete designs in My Drips, or remove everything by uninstalling the app.
- Subscriptions: manage or cancel them in the Google Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions, or on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information, or to complain to your data protection authority. Because the app has no accounts, we can't link Analytics or Crashlytics data to you by name. If you'd like to make a request, email [email protected] and we'll help as far as we're able.
8. Children
DripMaker is a general-audience design tool. We don't ask for, and don't knowingly collect, personal information such as names, emails or photos of children. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent us personal information, contact [email protected] and we'll delete it.
9. Security
Your designs are kept in storage that other apps can't read, and information sent to Google services is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect the information the app handles.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and for significant changes we'll also let you know in the app.
